On July 17 I released my debut album as V.N. Lucarelli. It’s been a work in progress for much of the time I’ve lived in Mparntwe and it’s as much a relief to share it with the world as it is nerve-racking.

Excited to be playing WOMADelaide 2024 with my good friend Myles. I’ll be DJing for him alongside Nookz on the NSS Academy Stage from 8:30PM.

2023 was such a big a year and I’m so proud looking back at all the great work myself and my collaborators made. Some highlights…

A video piece I was commissioned to develop the sound design for has just completed its final week of showing at the Araluen Art Centre in Mparntwe (Alice Springs). It was displayed as part of the group exhibition, Clay On Country, developed by Artback NT.

WTS often opens their doors to the public, but it’s fairly rare for the public to have the opportunity to dive right into the mysterious spaces of the artist studios.

I’ll be performing as V.N. Lucarelli for the 2021 Desert Festival at Red Hot Arts on September 24 in Mparntwe (Alice Springs).

Tim’s Walkabout is out in the world as of a couple of months ago! Dream come true to work on a story about megafauna. This story was written and illustrated by the Engawala Women’s Art Group. Animation by Nelson Armstrong. Sound and music by me.

I've been lucky enough to have the opportunity to compose an accompanying piece to a work by artist, Benna Gaean Maris, titled panspermia. This work was performed in full as part of Dark Skies Festival in Mparntwe (Alice Springs), hosted at the Earth Sanctuary, somewhat of an astronomy centre for us here in Mparntwe.

Here's a weird animation for a live performance of mine I recorded at Wide Open Space Festival outside Mparntwe (Alice Springs), NT in 2021. Performed with my modular synth, OP-1 and a selection of other equipment.

Very excited to be included in this year's Arts program for Wide Open Space. Will be collaborating with Slumberkitty and the WOS Arts Program Coordinator to put together some ambient/experimental alternatives to Saturday night and Sunday afternoon entertainment.

Lucky enough to have been given the opportunity to create sound effects and music for an animation promoting the concept of a solar energy super grid between remote communities across the NT.

A very delayed non-official release of some recordings from 2019-20 that have already been online for at least 12 months. All recorded live with my modular system.

The synth, in short, has a 12-key keyboard, two oscillators, two LFOs, a low pass filter, tube distortion and a multi-fx unit. This project was many projects in one. Eight to be exact. Let me attempt to break it down.

Kicking things off here with a super simple circuit I found via electro-music.com forums. It's originally by experimentalistsanonymous.com, but this vero-board layout is by kxspxr (Nov, 2008).
